The staff was so kind and I got great PR experience with interesting clients. I learned a lot of new things and it provided me with a great network that I know I can use whenever I need it. There were cool projects we got to work on such as delivering PR packages to certain talk shows. The other interns were great too.
What I wish was different
I wish they had asked us to come into the office more often. I wish they had let us choose at least one of the clients we were working with because some of the other interns got really interesting ones and I got mostly B2B clients I had never heard of.
Advice
Don't expect to be able to live in NYC solely reliant upon this salary. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Get a good understanding of what tasks to prioritize early on and they will appreciate that.
