I wish that the hours that I spent there were compensated for.
Advice
I would share that to work a job with middle school age children you have to have a certain level patience with the children.

What I liked
I loved working at the 92nd Street Y summer camp! All of the staff members were incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful. It was a challenging job, but I learned a lot. It was a great environment to work in.

What I liked
I loved that my job correlated directly with my aspiring career as a Speech-Language Pathologist. I worked with a group of campers with developmental delays and being a counselor allowed me to obtain more experience. Additionally, it helped strengthen and solidify my passion for working with this population. This past summer was my second time working with the 92nd Street Y camps and I would definitely reapply!
