CCE Virtual Practice Interview Program - Fall 2024

You will have the opportunity to hone your interview skills and get feedback from industry professionals.
Date: September 23rd through 27th, 2024
Timing: Interview slots will be available throughout the week. Students will sign up for 45 minute slots to meet with their interviewer.
Interested? Apply now by completing the application via LionSHARE. You must upload your resume to be considered for a session. If you are selected to be part of the program, you will be invited to select a practice interview time on LionSHARE.

What to expect from the program:
WHY
By practicing with a professional you will have the opportunity to apply your interviewing strategies through a live simulation and receive feedback in both real-time and a recap email after.
WHAT
You will engage with and answer behavioral questions over the course of 45-minutes with the professional. You will communicate via a Zoom video call where the professional will facilitate the interview and provide feedback. The questions the interviewer asks are often questions you would encounter on a first-round interview for a position at their company.
WHEN
Practice Interviews take place virtually September 23-27, 2024. You will schedule a time with your alumni based on their availability in LionSHARE.
WHERE
If selected, you will receive an invite to select a time slot in LionSHARE. All of the slots will include a date, time, interviewer name, and industry specialization. You should choose the alumni that best matches with your interests and program application.
Zoom links will be provided to connect with you interviewer.
During the practice interview, you should:
- Be in a quiet space with quality internet and phone service
- Prepare yourself for this practice interview as you would a real interview in order to get the most benefit from the exercise.
