Spring 2023 Circle Wealth Management Intern - CCE Internships+

The Intern role is responsible for supporting all aspects of the firm’s processes including investment research, portfolio management, and client communication. CWM’s Investment Committee believes a deep understanding and analysis of both top-down/macro and bottom-up/micro factors are critical to long-term investment success. As such, interns at the firm are generalists responsible for analyzing, tracking, and understanding all asset classes, geographies, and investment strategies and vehicles.
 
Specific responsibilities:
  • Due diligence on new and currently held investment strategies, vehicles, and securities including actively managed mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, exchange traded funds (active and passive), specific sector strategies, select individual securities, etc.
  • Assisting with the creation and ongoing updates of the Firm’s market overview slides which are shared with clients to provide context regarding the global market/macro environment and investment opportunities.
  • Drafting the Firm’s Daily Market Update, a market-focused newsletter sent to clients via email each morning.
  • Running, distributing, reviewing, and reporting to the team a daily summary of liquid investment and asset class performance.
  • Reading, analyzing, and reporting on macro, investment strategy, and individual company research reports.
  • Listening to manager meetings to take notes and report back to the Investment Committee.
  • Organizing and maintaining research files.
  • Creating materials for client meetings and calls, such as: customized portfolio reports, portfolio recommendations, market overviews/updates, and other analyses, as needed.
  • Being a team player and supporting other members of the firm as needed to help the firm and its clients grow and thrive.
  • Providing support for additional projects and ad-hoc requests.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and ability to learn new software systems quickly
