Summer Artistic Intern - CCASSIP

This internship is offered through the Columbia College Alumni-Sponsored Student Internship Program, (CCASSIP). All CCASSIP 2017 positions will be posted on LionSHARE during the Fall 2016/Spring 2017 semester on a rolling basis. To find CCASSIP internship postings, search under the Internships tab on LionSHARE, and use the “Label” function. There is no application limit for CCASSIP positions. Internship Description:


The Artistic Internship is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in learning about literary management and seasonal artistic planning. The Artistic Intern will attend weekly literary meetings with the Artistic Associate and Founding Producer to review and discuss current projects. This Intern will also be closely involved with the development and production process of our upcoming productions.

Responsibilities include:
• Assist the Artistic Associate and Founding Producer on researching, reading, and evaluating plays.
• Maintain the script database.
• Correspondence with playwrights and agents.
• Schedule and write articles for the website.
• Assist in the planning of PlayCo Idea Lab events.
• General administrative & office duties.
• Assist staff as needed.
