Summer Development and Fundraising Intern - CCASSIP

This internship is offered through the Columbia College Alumni-Sponsored Student Internship Program, (CCASSIP). All CCASSIP 2017 positions will be posted on LionSHARE during the Fall 2016/Spring 2017 semester on a rolling basis. To find CCASSIP internship postings, search under the Internships tab on LionSHARE, and use the “Label” function. There is no application limit for CCASSIP positions. Internship Description:

Special Events/Development:
This internship plays a pivotal role in the fundraising management of our company. Intern(s) will work closely with our Development department on the cultivation of prospective donors, annual campaigns, and will actively manage several components of our upcoming Broadway Benefit, scheduled for Fall 2017.

Responsibilities include:
• Manage & process reservations and requests for Special Events such as The Broadway Benefit and Cabaret Gourmet.
• Assist the Development department in the planning and execution of Special Events
• Assist in the creation of content for upcoming fundraising campaigns and grant proposals.
• Assist in Patron Manager database management.
• Conduct research on potential funding opportunities.
• General administrative & office duties.
• Assist staff as needed.
