Position Description

ThirtyThree is looking for a brilliant intern to join our equally brilliant London office in the summer of 2017.

We’re an insight-driven international advertising agency with offices in London, New York and Hong Kong. We work with an impressive list of clients including well-known brands such as McDonald’s, Johnson & Johnson, GE, KPMG and BP – complex clients that trust us to understand their needs, their sectors and their situations and to come up with creative solutions that really work.

That’s where you come in.

We’re offering an eight week placement in the Brand & Insight team for someone who wants to see how research and data informs client and creative solutions. Over your time with us we’ll ask you to get involved in primary as well as secondary research – that might mean drafting and analysing surveys, being involved in creative workshops and presenting research findings. It will also mean delving into existing data which could be on anything from ‘female participation in tertiary education worldwide’ to ‘the use of virtual reality headsets in Malaysia.’

The internship is set up to allow you to follow the progress of a campaign through the agency, giving you the chance to see how insight leads into the creative brief and how those ideas, in turn, are developed as digital assets and social campaigns.

Projects and Qualifications
You’ll be in the B&I team but we’d like you to get involved in as many of these areas as you can – so you may well find yourself conducting social listening one day and then using what you’ve learned to review creative work the next. To be honest, we can’t tell you exactly what your particular internship will cover, but if you are energised by getting involved, show an aptitude for analysis as well as creativity, and are prepared to speak up, it’s eight weeks in the heart of London and at the heart of the agency.

Longer term, as we grow in US, we will also be considering follow-on opportunities in the New York office so, if we have as much fun as you do, we will certainly be open to the possibility of further internships or a full-time position after you’ve headed home or after you graduate.

So, as large a first step as hopping across the Pond might seem, we’d nonetheless encourage you to think of it as a first step.
