Summer Marketing Communications Intern - CEO London

This internship is offered through the Columbia Experience Overseas (CEO) program. To learn more about CEO, go to http://www.careereducation.columbia.edu/findajob/cce-internship/ceo. All CEO 2017 internships will be posted on LionSHARE during the Fall 2016 semester and January 2017 on a rolling basis. To find CEO internship postings, search under the Internships tab on LionSHARE, and use the “Label” function. There are at least two required components to all CEO position applications and potentially more as requested by each employer as outlined below :

  2. Transcript (This is your spring course schedule which you should access by logging onto Student Services Online, clicking on “My Schedule” and copying and pasting your Spring 2017 course schedule into a Microsoft Word Document. The schedule should show your full name, your school, your Spring 2017 Courses, and your enrollment status.)
  3. Cover Letter (if required, click Apply Now and check for required documents)
  4. Other materials (ex: Writing Sample, etc. if required, click Apply Now and check for required documents)

Job Description:

The internship is for students who will be in London during summer 2017 and is on the marketing communications side of the business. During your time here, you can expect to rotate between different teams, supporting them in their day to day client work. This includes analysing financial and asset management media for news trends, clipping and summarising client press coverage, helping identify specific journalists and media opportunities to engage with on behalf of our client base and contributing to or leading research projects across our core competencies. The internship programme lasts for 2 months and interns will be required to work Monday to Friday from 9am-6.30pm, the dress code in the office is business wear. 

 Qualifications: No specific qualifications or areas of study are required, instead you need a real interest in pursuing marketing communications as your choice of career, be able to learn fast from a dynamic and deeply knowledgeable team and bring bags of enthusiasm to the role. An excellent grasp of the English language, both written and spoken, is required.

Salary: National minimum wage, per hour - £6.95 (over age 21) £5.55 (under age 21)
