Summer Business Development Intern- CEO Hong Kong

This internship is offered through the Columbia Experience Overseas (CEO) program. To learn more about CEO, go to http://www.careereducation.columbia.edu/findajob/cce-internship/ceo. All CEO 2017 internships will be posted on LionSHARE during the Fall 2016 semester and January 2017 on a rolling basis. To find CEO internship postings, search under the Internships tab on LionSHARE, and use the “Label” function. There are at least two required components to all CEO position applications and potentially more as requested by each employer as outlined below :

Transcript (This is your spring course schedule which you should access by logging onto Student Services Online, clicking on “My Schedule” and copying and pasting your Spring 2017 course schedule into a Microsoft Word Document. The schedule should show your full name, your school, your Spring 2017 Courses, and your enrollment status.)
  3. Cover Letter (if required, click Apply Now and check for required documents)
  4. Other materials (ex: Writing Sample, etc. if required, click Apply Now and check for required documents)

Internship Description:

The Business Development and Brand, Marketing and Communications team supports the firms' business development and communication activity across the APAC network. Our work ranges from pitching, to developing client relationships, to managing CRM databases, hosting seminars and events, to internal and external communication and branding. The Hong Kong office acts as a hub for the APAC region and a number of regional BD and Communication activities are led from here. In Hong Kong the BD team members are assigned to each of the 4 practice groups (Corporate, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Finance, Capital Markets), in addition the regional Communication team is also based in Hong Kong.
This role will be involved in a number of projects supporting anyone of the team members and the work can vary from market research, initial report drafting, CSR work, helping run events to assisting with administrative and infrastructure support. Please note this role will not give you direct legal experience.

Student payment: 10,000HKD per month
