Summer Intern for Chief Scientist- CEO Hong Kong
This internship is offered through the Columbia Experience Overseas (CEO) program. To learn more about CEO, go to http://www.careereducation.columbia.edu/findajob/cce-internship/ceo. All CEO 2017 internships will be posted on LionSHARE during the Fall 2016 semester and January 2017 on a rolling basis. To find CEO internship postings, search under the Internships tab on LionSHARE, and use the “Label” function. You may apply to up to eight (8) positions of interest across all CEO locations (Amman, Beijing, Hong Kong, London, Mumbai, Shanghai, Seoul, and Singapore). There are at least two required components to all CEO
position applications and potentially more as requested by each employer as

- Transcript (This is your spring course schedule which you should access by logging onto Student Services Online, clicking on “My Schedule” and copying and pasting your Spring 2017 course schedule into a Microsoft Word Document. The schedule should show your full name, your school, your Spring 2017 Courses, and your enrollment status.)
- Cover Letter (if required, click Apply Now and check for required documents)
- Other materials (ex: Writing Sample, etc. if required, click Apply Now and check for required documents)

Internship Description:You would be working closely with our Chief Scientist, who is responsible for technical and product development.
By joining NetDimensions as a summer intern, you would have the opportunity to work in a friendly environment and to gain experience with our powerful, multilingual software applications.
Job Description and Requirements:
• Computer Science background or related disciplines to assist Chief Scientist on innovative projects.
• Must be analytical with strong problem-solving skill.
• Ability to quickly adapt new technologies.
• Experience and knowledge of web technologies would be useful.
This particular position will explore innovative uses of artificial intelligence (AI) in an on-line learning environment as preparation for new roadmap functionality to be incorporated into the NetDimensions LMS. Familiarity with neural networks would be helpful, but more importantly an interest in how such AI systems can be used effectively for non-technical end users.
Student payment: HKD6500 per month
