Summer Legal Intern - CEO London
This internship is offered through the Columbia Experience Overseas (CEO) program. To learn more about CEO, go to http://www.careereducation.columbia.edu/findajob/cce-internship/ceo. All CEO 2017 internships will be posted on LionSHARE during the Fall 2016 semester and January 2017 on a rolling basis. To find CEO internship postings, search under the Internships tab on LionSHARE, and use the “Label” function. You may apply to up to eight (8) positions of interest across all CEO locations (Amman, Beijing, Hong Kong, London, Mumbai, Shanghai, Seoul, and Singapore). Hutchison Whampoa (Europe) Limited (HWEL) represents CK Hutchison’s interests in the United Kingdom and in Europe, and works under the mandate of the CK Hutchison head office in Hong Kong. The HWEL legal team supports the head office legal function, and provides legal and regulatory advice and transaction support to the business, working closely with HWEL Finance and senior management.
Overview of the role.
The summer internship is open to undergraduate students interested in a career in law. During the internship, you will be included in many aspects of working life, from departmental events and training sessions, as well as research, drafting, minute taking and meeting arrangements. You could also work directly with our internal business clients.
Qualifications
Undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in at least year 2
Conversational Cantonese and Putonghua (standard Chinese) preferable
