Summer Business Development Intern - CEO London

This internship is offered through the Columbia Experience Overseas (CEO) program. To learn more about CEO, go to http://www.careereducation.columbia.edu/findajob/cce-internship/ceo. All CEO 2017 internships will be posted on LionSHARE during the Fall 2016 semester and January 2017 on a rolling basis. To find CEO internship postings, search under the Internships tab on LionSHARE, and use the “Label” function. You may apply to up to eight (8) positions of interest across all CEO locations (Amman, Beijing, Hong Kong, London, Mumbai, Shanghai, Seoul, and Singapore).  Having your resume and cover letter reviewed by a CCE counselor is strongly recommended before applying. There are at least two required components to all CEO position applications and potentially more as requested by each employer as outlined below :

  2. Transcript (This is your spring course schedule which you should access by logging onto Student Services Online, clicking on “My Schedule” and copying and pasting your Spring 2017 course schedule into a Microsoft Word Document. The schedule should show your full name, your school, your Spring 2017 Courses, and your enrollment status.)
  3. Cover Letter (if required, click Apply Now and check for required documents)
  4. Other materials (ex: Writing Sample, etc. if required, click Apply Now and check for required documents)

Internship Description:

Provider of data, research and analysis on private and public companies. The company specializes in researching global M&A, private equity and venture capital investments along with all participating parties, including limited partners, investors, service providers and the professionals involved. PitchBook provides the investment community with a proprietary data platform, research tools and custom analysis to enable better investment decisions. Data is collected through the company's extensive research process that includes machine-learning and natural language processing technology, comprehensive review of publicly available sources, direct primary research with all parties involved in deal flow, online surveys, and ongoing quality assurance. In addition to the PitchBook Platform, the company also publishes a daily newsletter and quarterly reports detailing key industry activities and trends.

Intern would be working within Business Development team to reach out to and engage with potential clients. Clients include PE/VC investors, I-Banks, Consultants, etc. Candidates will be organized, driven and outgoing.
