Summer Intern- CCASSIP

This internship is offered through the Columbia College Alumni-Sponsored Student Internship Program, (CCASSIP). All CCASSIP 2017 positions will be posted on LionSHARE during the Fall 2016/Spring 2017 semester on a rolling basis. To find CCASSIP internship postings, search under the Internships tab on LionSHARE, and use the “Label” function. There is no application limit for CCASSIP positions. Having your resume and cover letter reviewed by a CCE counselor is strongly recommended before applying. Quick Questions happen at CCE M-F 1pm – 4pm. Transcript (This is your spring course schedule which you should access by logging onto Student Services Online, clicking on “My Schedule” and copying and pasting your Spring 2017 course schedule into a Microsoft Word Document. The schedule should show your full name, your school, your Spring 2017 Courses, and your enrollment status.)
  3. Cover Letter (if required, click Apply Now and check for required documents)
  4. Other materials (ex: Writing Sample, etc. if required, click Apply Now and check for required documents)

Interns will join a group of multi-disciplinary senior consultants with decades of experience in their respective disciplines. They will work alongside talented analysts, associates and managers to support RSAdvisors’ global client base. Daily activities will include primary and secondary source research, assembling and vetting budget and financial data and transforming it into usable information, as well as building client presentations. This high energy position will track, analyze and report on supply and demand-side issues that impact our clients’ strategies and create value.

Critical requirements:
• US citizenship and the ability to be in the Washington, D.C. area from June to August
• Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, General Business, National Security, Political Science, or Public Policy
• Internship or work experience in the aerospace, defense, aviation or government services sectors - OR - with a top investment bank, private equity or venture capital firm
• Strong acumen in writing for business and dealing face-to-face with clients
