About the National Committee on American Foreign Policy:

The National Committee on American Foreign Policy (NCAFP) was founded in 1974 by Professor Hans J. Morgenthau and others to serve as a nonprofit, independent foreign policy institute to help shape U.S. foreign policy within the framework of political realism. It seeks to identify and to allay the gravest challenges to U.S. and global security.

The NCAFP organizes educational and informational programs and conferences on foreign policy. Furthermore, its projects and initiatives host off-the-record Track 1 ½ and II conferences between both former and current officials, subject matter experts, and scholars in order to enable candid conversations on the most pressing security challenges facing the United States.
