Summer 2019 Sales and Operations Intern - CEO Singapore

INTERN JOB DESCRIPTION (SALES & BUSINESS OPERATIONS)
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our dynamic team. Our primary goal is to provide students the opportunity to learn through practical career-related work experience and the chance to contribute to a growing start-up organization. Our intern will be responsible for supporting the Covetella team in various day-to-day tasks with a specific focus on Sales and Business Operations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
·        Support the Sales & Business Operations team with daily tasks and to-dos
·        Help maintain the showroom, appointment calendar and assist with customer appointments, including styling
·        Create and manage customer profiles and respond to questions and/or complaints from customers quickly and with a positive attitude
·        Manage and update product uploads for the Covetella website
·        Assist in taking photos of new products to be uploaded on the website
·        Keep track of available inventory and ensure all style information is correct and up-to-date
·        Proactively reach out to customers to remind them of available inventory based on the customer needs
·        Assist in managing special promotions and events (fashion shows, galas, pop-ups, etc.)
·        Arrange courier services and tracking package pickups/drop-offs
·        Take the initiative to find ways to work more efficiently, increase sales and business performance and resolve urgent issues

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
·        Experience in Sales, Business Operations, E-Commerce and/or Customer Service
·        Enthusiastic and positive team player with a “no task is too small” attitude
·        Highly organized and detail oriented, able to prioritize and meet deadlines
·        Need a flexible work schedule and be great at multi-tasking
·        Must be resourceful, pro-active and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
·        Proficient in English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
·        Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Docs
·        Experience with Photoshop, Photography and/or Shopify a plus
·        Must be a Singapore resident or have a valid work authorization at the time of the internship

Pay: $500 SGD per month 

Required Components:
There are at least two required components to all CEO position applications and potentially more as requested by each employer as outlined below:

Transcript (This is your spring course schedule which you should access by logging onto Student Services Online, clicking on “My Schedule” and copying and pasting your Spring 2019 course schedule into a Microsoft Word Document. The schedule should show your full name, your school, your Spring 2019 Courses, and your enrollment status.)
  3. Cover Letter (if required - click ‘Apply Now’ and check for required documents)
  4. Other materials (ex: Writing Sample, etc. if required - click ‘Apply Now’ and check for required documents)
The CEO program runs June 10- August 2, 2019. Students must participate for the entire duration of the program.  Submit your completed applications via LionSHARE by Sunday, February 10, 2019.
