Summer 2019 Recruitment Intern– CEO London

CEO Program Description:
This internship is offered through the Columbia Experience Overseas (CEO) program. To learn more about CEO, go to http://www.careereducation.columbia.edu/findajob/cce-internship/ceo. All CEO 2019 internships will be posted on LionSHARE during the Fall 2018 semester and January 2019 on a rolling basis. To find CEO internship postings, search under the Internships tab on LionSHARE, and use the “Label” function. You may apply to up to eight (8) positions of interest across all CEO locations. You must be in good academic and judicial standing with Columbia University to be eligible to participate in the program. Job Description:
We're a fast-growing business so we're looking for people who will help us to fuel that growth. The role will primarily involve mapping out our market and understanding who's who in our business sectors, so that we can identify the people we need to be speaking to. After that you’ll get on the phone to them! You’ll be speaking to a variety of individuals from all over Europe to understand their career motivations and to get a sense of their strengths and weaknesses. You’ll then write brief notes on each candidate and ensure their record is fully updated on our CRM system.

Our team work with a range of banks, investment firms and Fortune 500 clients, for whom we run recruitment campaigns from start to finish on their behalf. Our team are highly educated, engaging, credible and dynamic individuals dealing with the top talent in the UK each year.

The Role Includes:
·        Sourcing new candidates
·        Building commercial awareness and industry knowledge
·        Managing projects internally and on behalf of clients
·        Being professional and responsive with candidates
·        Understanding the key drivers and motivations for candidates
·        Learning how to use the database efficiently

Salary:
This internship is a paid opportunity (1,000 GBP per month).

Required Components:
There are at least two required components to all CEO position applications and potentially more as requested by each employer as outlined below:

The following documents must be submitted through LionSHARE for each position of interest: 
  1. Resume
  2. Transcript (This is your spring course schedule which you should access by logging onto Student Services Online, clicking on “My Schedule” and copying and pasting your Spring 2019 course schedule into a Microsoft Word Document. The schedule should show your full name, your school, your Spring 2019 Courses, and your enrollment status.)
  3. Cover Letter (if required - click ‘Apply Now’ and check for required documents)
  4. Other materials (ex: Writing Sample, etc. if required - click ‘Apply Now’ and check for required documents)

The CEO program runs June 10- August 2, 2019. Students must participate for the entire duration of the program. Submit your completed applications via LionSHARE by Sunday, February 10, 2019.
