Adweek Social Media Internship

Adweek’s editorial team is looking for a social media intern with skills in visual communication, social platforms and organization/scheduling. A keen editor’s eye is also a plus. This position would mostly assist Adweek’s social editor in keeping our channels full of our latest and greatest content in addition to utilizing our archives. Ideally, you have experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment, are comfortable pitching new and creative ways to help show our articles off to the world and are familiar with scheduling systems such as Buffer, Echobox, Hootsuite and/or Tweetdeck etc.
Qualifications:
·    Proficient in on all social media platforms – especially Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat
·    Self-starter
·    Possess ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently
·    This position is open to Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors
Location: New York, NY
Time: Year-Round Internship, Dates flexible; January - December
This is an Unpaid internship – company will support/ participate in any eligible college credit programs.
