Summer Marketing Intern - CCASSIP

This internship is offered through the Columbia College Alumni-Sponsored Student Internship Program, (CCASSIP). CCASSIP Positions and the program are open to CC students only. All CCASSIP 2018 positions will be posted on LionSHARE during the Fall 2017/Spring 2018 semester on a rolling basis. To find CCASSIP internship postings, search under the Internships tab on LionSHARE, and use the “Label” function. There is no application limit for CCASSIP positions. You must be in good academic and judicial standing with Columbia University to be eligible to participate in the program. By submitting an application, I authorize the Center for Career Education to conduct academic and disciplinary checks to confirm program eligibility.

  1. Resume
  2. Transcript (This is your spring course schedule which you should access by logging onto Student Services Online, clicking on “My Schedule” and copying and pasting your Spring 2018 course schedule into a Microsoft Word Document. The schedule should show your full name, your school, your Spring 2018 Courses, and your enrollment status.)
  3. Cover Letter (if required, click Apply Now and check for required documents)
  4. Other materials (ex: Writing Sample, etc. if required, click Apply Now and check for required documents)

Internship Description:

This is a general marketing internship that will aid in all parts of a lean startup marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with analytics for marketing with a focus on digital advertising.
Strategize + execute social media strategy across channels.
Aid in design briefing, timelines, and asset handoff.
Organize creative asset library and strategize usage across marketing channels, with an emphasis on social and advertising
Assist in weekly website audit + UX testing.
Assist Artist Program: You will be working with the team to vet artist fellows, assist in providing guidelines for artists, coordinate bookings, and follow up post booking.
Support operations team with guest analytics weekly.

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate for this position is detail oriented, willing to take on new responsibilities, and is eager to learn about the ins and outs of digital marketing at a high growth startup.
This role is an equal balance of developing a creative and analytical skill set, so experience / willingness to grow both are important
Designed technical skills include Excel, Google Apps, and basic Photoshop (optional)
