Founded in 1967, Phoenix House is one of the nation’s largest non-profit organizations devoted to the treatment and prevention of substance abuse and is universally recognized as an innovative leader in the field. Currently, we operate diverse programs spanning across the nation. These include assessment and evaluation, detoxification, outpatient and residential programs, sober living residences, after-school and day programs for teens, case management, special women’s services, and programs that serve substance abusers with mental health problems. We are invested in the quality and care of our clients--men, women, and adolescents--and committed to empowering them with the skills and self-confidence required to lead independent, productive and rewarding lives.
Our mission is to serve those persons, families, and communities whose lives are threatened disrupted, or otherwise burdened by addiction and related behavioral concerns. Our devoted staff are committed to treating the whole person—and come from all fields. We are known for a willingness to embrace new research-tested treatment methods and practices, with programs working to meet individualized client needs.
