Compliance Officer Intern

June 2019 - August 2019 Long Island City, NY
“I liked that I was able to really see the inner-workings of how a non-profit operated. I was able to meet and forge relations of people of all different backgrounds and educational paths that lead them where they were. In general, I was able to have a taste of how this kind of career might suit me for the near future as a prospective job, gaining experience and learning hands-on that would not be possible in a classroom setting. Despite being very inexperienced, my supervisor was very nice in trying to accommodate my needs of how I could best utilize my experience during my time as an intern there. ”
